TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma - The Sequoyah Schools’ cheerleaders will host a youth cheerleading clinic, February 4 – 6, from 3:30 until 5:00 for children ages 4 to 12. Cheer clinic participants will learn a cheer and dance to perform at half-time of the Sequoyah basketball game on February 7.

“This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year,” said Bonnie Griffin, Sequoyah cheerleading coach. “It’s definitely the fundraiser that is the most fun. The squad gets the opportunity to teach to younger kids and the younger kids learn from cheerleaders that they see perform at ballgames. It’s a lot of fun for everyone.”

The fee for the clinic is $30 per participant. Participants will receive a t-shirt for attending and will receive free admission to the February 7 basketball game when wearing their shirt. The deadline for registration is February 1.

For information or to receive an application contact Bonnie Griffin by phone: 918-453-5400 or by e-mail, or contact Tera Shows by phone: 918-453-5542 or by e-mail.
