TAHLEQUAH, OK — The Cherokee Nation W.W. Hastings Hospital will be
hosting a men’s health fair on Friday, January 16, from 9 a.m. until
noon in Dining Rooms A and B at the hospital, located at 100 S. Bliss
Avenue in Tahlequah.
Activities offered for the event include blood pressure checks, blood
sugar screening, body-mass-index (BMI) checks and educational
information. Several groups will be on hand for information, including
Cherokee Nation Home Health, Local Hospice, Cherokee Nation Cancer
Programs, New Frontier Hospice, Cherokee Nation Public Health Nursing
Program, Cherokee Nation Outreach, Encompass Home Health, OK Health Care
Solutions, Medical Equipment Affiliates, Cornerstone Home Health, House
Calls Home Health, Sol Amor Hospice, Traditions Home Care, Medi-Aire and
Sooner Home Health.
The health fair is free and the public is invited to attend. The
program is being sponsored as part of Men’s Health Awareness Month.
