CLAREMORE, Oklahoma - The Cherokee Nation will hold an “Orientation
to Entrepreneurship” workshop on March 24, to educate interested community
members about owning and operating a small business. The workshop is
open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. in the Cherokee Nation
Small Business Assistance Center, located at 23205 S. Hwy 66 in
Claremore.
According to Veronica Hix, Entrepreneur Development Manager, the material to be covered in the workshop was designed to promote self-sufficiency and educate potential small business loan applicants about the ins and outs of owning a business. “This session is going to provide participants with a good overview of what entrepreneurship is all about,” said Hix.
