TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma - The Sequoyah Schools’ cheerleaders have postponed their fall youth cheer
clinic until October 27-29. The clinic will be held from 4 p.m. until 5
p.m. for children ages 4 to 12 in the lower level of The Place Where
They Play. Cheer clinic participants will learn a cheer, chant and
dance to perform at half-time of the Sequoyah football game on October
30.
“There were several scheduling conflicts this week that just made it a better idea to postpone until next week,” said Bonnie Griffin, Sequoyah cheerleading coach. The fee for the clinic is $28 per participant. Participants will receive a t-shirt for attending and will receive free admission to the October 30 football game when wearing their shirt. All proceeds will go directly to the Sequoyah Schools’ cheerleaders. They are raising money to pay their expenses to perform in a bowl game at the University of Hawaii, an honor the squad earned this summer through outstanding performance at summer camp. For information or to receive an application, contact Griffin, phone: 918-453-5400 or by e-mail or visit the Sequoyah Schools’ web site. |
