Small business owners who would like to learn more about Oklahoma tax laws are invited to participate in a special workshop hosted by the Cherokee Nation on Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Indian Capital Technology Center located at 240 VoTech Rd. in Tahlequah. The workshop will be presented by Dewey Brandon of the Oklahoma Tax Commission and will include important information that small business owners need to know about Oklahoma sales taxes, excise taxes, employer taxes and other related areas. Sponsors of the workshop include the Indian Capital Technology Center, Rural Enterprises of Oklahoma, Inc., and the Cherokee Nation Small Business Assistance Center.
