On March 21, 2001 AIROS will be celebrating the International Day for the Elimination of Racism by broadcasting the Annual Voices Without Frontiers - North America, between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. ET.The campaign is a co-production between the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC) and community radio stations worldwide.
Voices Without Frontiers is being broadcasted live on the internet by the World Radio Network (WRN), and by the American Indian Radio On Satalite (AIROS) in North America. Listen to the AIROS streaming audio live, by way of RealPlayer.
North America is participating this year with a live broadcast from Radio Centre-Ville in Montreal. Highlights include a live feed from the National Federation of Community Broadcasters (NFCB) conference from San Francisco, a live indigenous panel on indigenous self-determination hosted by Native American Calling (NAC), and a live radio feed in Inuktitut and French from Iqualuit, Nunavut.
