Dear Editor.

I am writing about the way some of the RST (Rosebud Sioux Tribe) Council react when a issue affects one of their own. I for one am tired of the way these elected officials take it upon themselves to leave out the will of the People. How many communities have instructed their council representative to vote and sign Cousin Earl Bordeaux Jr. petition for that Special (we can re-instate,and hell with due process) Tribal Council meeting which is scheduled to be held on June 12, 2001.

How many people, who were fired from their jobs, are afforded this same benefit of having a cover up and your wrongdoing wiped clean, so you can get back TO BUSINESS AS USUAL. It is obvious that a fraction of the RST Council is self-serving, and will show disrespect for any board or committee, who did their job honestly and wanted program accountability.

Also, if you will remember that I have filed criminal complaints against Council Men Russell Eagle Bear, as well as, a complaint against Antelope Councilman Lionel Bordeaux. (Nothing done at the court house.) I will have submitted the copies of the charges against these two councilmen to the whole council on June 12th, at the "special Lionel meeting".

It is easy for them to totally disregard my complaints or give me due process, remembering that Russell sits on the council as well as the Judicial Committee, maybe that is why these charges never showed up in court.

I am beginning to see why the charges filed against their housing director, alledged woman beater, also never went anywhere in Tribal Court. In the outside world the correct term for this Human & Civil Rights Violation is call Obstruction of Justice, plus a few other words that describe malfeasance and abuse of elected positions. Another good example of abuse of power is the way certain community chairman are using that ELITE Community Chairmen's Association, (or Charlies Social Club).

For some reason they would like people to think that they are the ruling factor, that they can decide on their self-serving agendas without any legitimate community authorization or minutes of any meetings giving permission to these Chair People the go ahead with any business.

Besides being a FARCE, the correct word is Tyrant, 1. a. it means a absolute ruler unrestrained by law or constitution. b: a usurper of sovereignty. 2. a. a ruler who exercises absolute power oppressively or brutally. b: one resembling an oppressive ruler in the harsh use of authority or power.

So, here on the Rosebud, Due process is something only afforded certain individuals, That is why we are asking the good people of the world to look towards the Sicangu Homelands, here in South Central South Dakota. Help us get audits and Federal investigations. The Human & Civil Rights Violations are a everyday occurrence here.

NO JUSTICE NO PEACE
