On Tuesday, October 8, 2002, a delegation of Apache Spiritual Elders will be arriving in Minneapolis from the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona. Please join us as we stand up together in a circle of prayer and hope for the protection of all of our sacred ways and lands as we celebrate the days leading up to the 510th anniversary of Indigenous resistance and survival since the coming of Columbus.PRAYER - ACTION in PROTECTION of MOUNT GRAHAM

Also during this week the American Indian Student Cultural Center will be welcoming Apache Elders to the U with a luncheon on Tuesday around 1 pm. Please join the AISCC board members in welcoming the elders. Location: 104 Jones Hall
On Wednesday after the Sunrise Ceremony breakfast will be available to the elders and students here at the AILRC. Please feel free to stop by and talk with the elders. Location 125 Fraser Hall.
