N.A.T.I.V.E.S. would like to invite people of ALL nations to attend the fourth World Peace and Prayer Day in Colorado on June 20, 1999. This year it will either be in Pueblo Colorado or Colorado Springs. It is the fourth of our four year commitment to Arvol Looking Horse, Keeper of the White Buffalo Calf Pipe, to bring all nations together to celebrate our traditions and honor the ancestors who have gone before us. It is the last year before the gathering of all gatherings in the year 2000.As we have been asked, we invite everyone, regardless of their color or religion, and ask only that they respect our ceremonies as they are held and that no drugs or alcohol be consumed before coming to participate and that none be brought with you. We will have the drum, dancers, speakers from AIM, the Tokala and others who have fought and lived for the rights of the people to exist. It is a day of peace and a day to remember where we came from and where we are going. We welcome everyone.
If you are interested in attending or volunteering for our prison work, please write to:
